The inspiration behind this painting is Leonid Afremov. Abstract is not really my style. But one of the first times I saw one of his paintings, it was so unique and made me think, “I want to be able to do that.” This was my attempt and it was a very different technique from the more ‘realistic’ Bob Ross style. Either way it was a fun experience and will definitely try it again. The painting is done with oil paints. Original or Prints available.
Mounted prints are mounted on light-weight, sturdy gatorfoam. Mounting features foam blocks that allow the print to protrude from the wall for a very elegant modern look. Mounted print also include protective coating that enhance and protect the quality of your print. Prints are printed on a semi gloss lustre surface and a canvas texture to better mimic the original painting.
