About

El Paso County's annual Christmas lights display at Ascarate Park will be getting a big Santa-sized boost. Insurance company owner and philanthropist Fred Loya's annual light show synchronized to holiday, classical and pop music is known for drawing thousands of spectators who gather nightly during the holidays in front of his home

Times

Shows will only be on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Lights will be lit on all other days, but with no shows, from Nov. 25, 2022 - Jan. 6, 2023. Last show is Christmas Day.

Friday

  • 5:30 p.m. - Flipping the switch ceremony

  • 6:00 p.m. - Shows traditionally on the hour when at the Fred Loya house

  • 7:00 p.m.

  • 8:00 p.m.

Saturday

  • 6:00 p.m.

  • 7:00 p.m.

  • 8:00 p.m.

Sunday

  • 6:00 p.m.

  • 7:00 p.m.

  • 8:00 p.m.

Parking

City is waiving parking and entrance fees.
