The Rap Seminar All Elements Exhibition celebrates the 50 year anniversary of Hip Hop by showcasing experts in djaying, emceeing, graffiti, and breakdancing. Thanks to funding from the El Paso Museum and Cultural Affairs Division, the event is free for the public.

ABOUT RAP SEMINAR:
Rap Seminar LLC is an underground Hip Hop-centric platform that showcases, celebrates, and promotes the culture through various means, including the documentation of lyrical and literary techniques emcees employ, the lyrical analysis of verses, songs, and albums, community workshops, events, and the creation of The Emcee Tool Kit: Writing Prompts, Rhyme Schemes, and More. Our platform brings together a community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for Hip Hop. Follow Rap Seminar on Instagram.

EXHIBITION DETAILS:
The event will showcase four elements of Hip Hop in the following ways: Graffiti notebook exhibit, live graffiti art, dj exposition, breakdance cyphers, and expert emceeing. Unlike most Hip Hop events, this one will include a Q&A with the featured artists.

BOCAFLOJA:
Bocafloja is an Interdisciplinary artist and curator based in New York; Documentary Film, Music, Literature, Photography, and, Design are some of his mediums of creation. Bocafloja has been featured in: PBS, OKAYAFRICA, AFROPUNK, BBC, NPR, LA JORNADA, ONCE TV, REMEZCLA, MTV, NACLA, CULTURESTRIKE, and many other newspapers, magazines and media outlets globally.

TERMANOLOGY:
Massachusetts emcee, Termanology has collaborated with Hip Hop’s finest, including the legendary DJ Premier, the Alchemist, Pete Rock, and rappers like Prodigy, Bun B, Freeway, and the LOX's Sheek Louch, and Statik Selektah. From the underground to stardom, Termanology’s prolific mixtapes and studio albums like ‘Politics as Usual’ and ‘Bad Decisions’ showcase his raw talent.

JAZZANAUT:
Jazzanaut is a highly respected DeeJay known for his enigmatic presence behind the turntables. Inspired by Classic ITF and DMC VHS tapes in 1997, he embarked on a journey of dedicated practice and learning. Jazzanaut's talent led him to The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in AZ and an internship in Burbank CA, where he joined the Boombox Collective. Sharing the stage with renowned artists like Ali Shaheed Muhammad and DJ Shadow, Jazzanaut remains a lifelong student of the turntablist art form.
